How it works…..
The process begins with building and establishing the therapeutic working relationship. This typically happens in the consultation call. The next step is a detailed biopsychosocial assessment which is used to build out a case plan which will be used throughout the therapeutic working relationship.
The next step is to establish a schedule which is typically a weekly session, however, some may benefit from more frequent sessions.
You, the client, determine the topic to be processed at the beginning of each session. You are also responsible for maintaining and updating the case plan. The case plan is definable, measurable and actionable.
This work may explore:
1. Unresolved traumas – injuries, accidents, illnesses
2. Losses – loved ones, relationships, jobs, careers
3. Stressors – family, money, career, relationships
4. Low self-esteem or self confidence
5. Areas for personal growth and development
6. Reinvigorating life potential
7. Other targets as defined by you, the client
The overarching goal of this work is to return you to a more productive and satisfying life by removing the emotional charges preventing self-actualization.
