Good Faith Estimate
You have the right to know what your care may cost — upfront.
Under the No Surprises Act, healthcare providers are required to give clients who are uninsured or not using insurance a Good Faith Estimate of expected charges for services, including psychotherapy.
ScalesTipped.com uses Grow Therapy to provide the backend of this practice. Fees can be discussed in advance and ScalesTipped.com will provide a Good Faith Estimate. This estimate outlines the anticipated total cost of care, so you can make informed decisions without unexpected bills. You can request a Good Faith Estimate before starting services, or at any point during your time in therapy.
If you receive a bill that’s $400 or more than the estimate you were given, you have the right to dispute it. That’s why it’s a good idea to keep a copy or screenshot of your estimate for reference.
While it's not always possible to know exactly how many sessions will be needed — since therapy is personalized — we’re required to provide an estimate based on what we currently know. Your total cost will depend on how often we meet, your goals, and the services that are most supportive for you.
